Olav Mosvold Larsen

VP Sustainability, Avinor

Bio:

Working for Avinor – Norway’s Air Navigation Service Provider and airport operator – since 2007, Olav is currently VP Sustainability. His responsibilities include activities related to carbon emission reductions at Avinor’s 43 airports, as well as introduction of sustainable aviation fuels, hydrogen and electrified passenger aircraft. Mr. Larsen has amongst others chaired ACI Europe’s Environmental Strategy Committee. He holds a degree in political science and has previously worked as a researcher at the University of Oslo, Centre for Development and the Environment.

Christian Berg Skjetne

Senior engineer, ITS technology, Norwegian Public Roads Administration

Bio:

Mr. Skjetne works at the ITS technology department and is responsible for testing and developing new technologies for future transportation. He started working at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration in 2015 and holds a master’s degree in machine learning from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. 

In research and development, he is currently working on topics such as:

  • New communication technology between cars, car manufacturers, road operators and service providers.
  • System integrity and robustness. (C-ITS, GNSS)
  • New data sources for improved traffic management.
  • International data harmonization.
